Loving the things she loved.

I don’t pretend to know everything, or even many things about Lesley Parrot. But here are a few things I do know.

She was the sweetest thing. Always had a smile for everyone. Spoke with a kind voice and kind eyes. And she loved my nephew very much.

And sadly, I know that she left us way too soon. And left behind many people who love and miss her so badly. Not the least of these her Love, Ian.

I also know, because he has told me, that she liked the 1955 Chevy BelAir. In sea foam green.

So October moon is painted in honor of Sweet Lesley Parrot. Because the people who loved her, love the things she loved. And they like to have them around. In a small way, it’s like having her around a little more. And Auntie loves the ONE THING that she loved most here on earth. Ian Delo. I hope you enjoy it Dear One.
