A Little Break in the action

Hello Kids

Allen and I are in the middle of a very busy season right now. We are selling two houses in Idaho, and buying a house in Missouri. We are moving out of two places that have more than a decade of memories and the … stuff that goes with those. Holy cow! I have made more trips to the recycle center in one month than I have in my whole life.

So right now my paint supplies are in a box ready to move. I have just managed to create as many creative boxing solutions as I needed to box up my many paintings. I like to paint large work. I have several things that are 48 inches wide or 36 inches square. There are not a lot of standard boxes that fit paintings of that size. So it doesn’t make sense to be creating more work right now that would need to dry and then get boxed. So. Paining is taking a hiatus for a bit.

I miss it terribly. My brain is just blooming with inspiration and ideas for paintings. I feel like I will explode.

So for now, as a small creative steam release, I have started doing some crochet. This one is a blanket made from the bobble stitch. Lots of puffy fun.

I also want to stay in touch with you all. So I will be posting my crochet work to my page until I can get back to painting.
