There Is A Chill In The Air

Hey Folks

I’ve been pretty busy lately with art and art shows and Instagram posts and videos. I love to stay in touch with you all it’s true. So art shows can be fun. And when you respond to a blog post, or an Instagram post, I love that. Just to connect with all of you is very satisfying.

But truthfully, I don’t really enjoy marketing. What I enjoy is painting.

The painting that you see below, is called “ Finally Home”. When I was at the recent Warrensburg Holiday Arts and Crafts show, I received a very nice compliment. Someone looked at the glowing windows in this painting (Again with the glowing windows, I know) and she said, “ No one is doing laundry in that house right now.”

Ha Ha. Isn’t that great? That is exactly the feeling I like to evoke with my work. There is a house with glowing windows. And in that house everyone is happy. Life is good. Inside, the light is warm, the fire is roaring, and all is well. You have only to finish trudging up the snow covered path open the door and enter, and you will be safe and sound.
